RIYADH: Deaths from the Middle East Respiratory Syndrom (MERS) coronavirus in Saudi Arabia has jumped to 502 with the announcement of four more fatalities on Thursday.The Ministry of Health reported that the latest victims were all Saudis based in Riyadh, including three males aged 75, 63 and 58, and a woman aged 87.Six new cases were also reported in Riyadh, with four in critical condition. Six of the new cases are women with ages ranging from 25 to 77. The lone male new case is 78 years old.The new cases brings the total to 1,171 in the kingdom since June 2012 when the coronavirus was first discovered.
