RIYADH: A student was shot after a quarrel with three other schoolboys in the capital, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The pupil from the Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi Secondary School in Al-Salam district was admitted to hospital with serious gunshot wounds.

Police later arrested three students from another high school, police spokesman in Riyadh Lt. Col. Sami Al-Showeiregh said. The trio had earlier quarreled with the victim, culminating in the shooting on Monday.
