MADINAH, 30 March 2005 — A cell phone was responsible for the death of a Saudi who was driving while talking on the phone, Al-Hayat reported. His car flipped over many times and he was killed. Near the site of the accident, there were two Sri Lankans who approached the car, took the cell phone which was lying on the ground and ran away. Once at home, they got into an argument about the cell phone which ended with one of the men stabbing the other. The police discovered the crime and arrested the man who confessed to stabbing his friend. The murderer is now awaiting execution unless the dead man’s family forgives him. |
