TAIF, 31 October 2005 — Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs began preparing a new strategy to define the scope of construction at the different regions for the next 25 years, reported Al-Madinah newspaper. The strategy aims at defining the construction limits for cities, aligning it with the development stages and providing a database on each region and its services. The strategy also aims at reserving agricultural lands and taking into consideration environmental aspects of each region.
