The Middle East's leading English-language daily

By ARAB NEWS TEAM

Arab News, the Middle East's leading English-language daily, has been proud to serve its loyal readers for more than 34 eventful years. During these dynamic times, our readers have followed our coverage of events from the Iranian Revolution to spiraling global pollution, from incinerated oilfields to record oil yields.

From the day of its launch in 1975 in Jeddah, Arab News has dedicated itself to bringing you the top stories and the issues that affect YOU, providing local news for our readers around the world and world news for our local readers

Voted the favorite English-language daily in the Gulf in a poll carried out by ArabianBusiness.com in 2008, Arab News has kept a firm spotlight on political and social trends. It continues to develop its life and style and opinion pages. Our focus is on local, Gulf, Middle East and international news respectively — reporting the stories that our audiences want to read.

The world never stops changing — nor does Arab News.  Over the years, it has added new sections, new pages, extended coverage of key topics, adjusted the formatting of the paper and taken on board the necessary changes — be it within or without — in order to move with the times.

Therefore, it gives us tremendous pleasure to present the Arab News' new website.

YOU have expressed the need for a dynamic website. And that's what we hope to deliver, step by step.

Thank you for visiting arabnews.com

You call it dynamic. Well, this may be true, but it lacks parts of what the old version had. Namely, it does not list the prayer call times. Also, I was unable to find the gold and oil prices.
