Top brands to join Riyadh Motor Show

Huge preparations are in progress for the Riyadh Motor Show, which is set to kick off later in 2016.
Amid the steady growth witnessed in the automotive industry where cars sold recorded SR93 billion and is expected to reach up to one million units by 2020, Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. (REC) announced the launch of the Riyadh Motor Show, as a continuation to the prolonged successful track record since its inception 30 years ago.
The Riyadh Motor Show will be held from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
The consistent support provided by the government to the local auto industry made it one of the highly influential sectors on the economy, especially that it is one of the six targeted industrial sectors that represent the core of the Kingdom's ambitious strategy to diversify its industry locally.
Prince Saud Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, chairman of Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd., stated: “Our keenness to make early preparations for this event is part of our commitment to reinforcing the position of the Kingdom in general and our capital Riyadh in particular on the world map of the MICE industry, for organizing huge successful automotive related exhibitions.”
The prince said: “We are looking forward to the participation of all automotive brands, as we are offering them an integrated, well organized and comprehensive show dedicated to the automotive industry and hosted at the heart of the strongest market in the region."
He added: “This year, the exhibition features a revolutionary new look and feel, as we added a new dynamic section dedicated to motorbikes under the Saudi Power Sports exhibition in line with the remarkable increase of motorcycle culture and lifestyle throughout the Kingdom.”
The exhibition is described as a perfect opportunity for automotive, motorbikes and accessories companies and manufacturers.
