eXtra opens first store in Hail

United Electronics Company (eXtra), Saudi Arabia's fastest-growing consumer electronics and home appliance retailer, has announced the opening of its sixth new store since the start of 2012. The 1,500-square-metre facility in Hail, its first in Hail Province, brings eXtra's Kingdomwide network to 29 stores.
Located on the King Abdullah Ring Road, the store will offer the very best consumer electronics and home appliances to a population of approximately 330,000.
"Since the turn of the year, eXtra has opened a new store at the rate of almost one per month," said Mohammad Galal, CEO, United Electronics Company (eXtra). "Our rapid expansion across the Kingdom has added millions of people to our potential customer base. Today, people across Saudi Arabia can visit their nearest eXtra store to experience the widest range of products at the best prices, coupled with an unparalleled range of ancillary services."
eXtra was recently voted by one of the Kingdom's leading economic newspapers as offering the Best Retail Working Environment in the Kingdom. The company was also named as one of the Top 200 Companies in the GCC by Forbes Middle East, and also ranked as one of the Top 5 Services companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In both 2010 and 2011, eXtra was cited by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) as one of the Kingdom's fastest-growing companies.
In addition, eXtra was also recently named as one of the Arabia 500 top companies in recognition of its exceptional growth and sustained commercial success.
Currently, eXtra provides the over 10 million customers it serves annually with more than 12,000 world-leading products. The company ranks first in the Saudi Arabia consumer electronics sector in terms of the number of stores and products it offers.
