Bus accident kills 10 Iranians in Iraq

BAGHDAD: At least 10 Iranian pilgrims were killed and 33 others wounded when their bus overturned and caught fire in Iskandariya, south of Baghdad, police and hospital sources said.
The bus was traveling from the Shiite holy city of Najaf toward the northern city of Samarra, another holy city for Shiites. The accident occurred on the highway near Iskandariya, 40 km south of Baghdad.
Reuters Television footage showed headscarves and pools of blood in the overturned bus, along with scattered food, bottles of water and shoes.
