Nasir bin Misfer Alzahrani, founder of “Assalamu Alaik Dearest Prophet” project, has announced the launch of a museum during the last 10 days of holy Ramadan.
The project will contain up to 1,500 displays that tells the story of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), and what was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah in modern and practical ways.
In a press conference this week at the project’s center, features focused on the prophet’s wives, objects like furniture, weapons, picks, coinages, foods and drinks mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. It will provide 25 encyclopedias containing at least 500 volumes.
The museum will remain open 24/7 for visitors. The venue can accommodate up to 500 visitors per hour.
Nasir also talked about the project for the city of “Assalamu Alaik Dearest Prophet,” which will be built between Makkah and Jeddah on a million square meters land. It will serve various interests like the University of Assalamu Alaik Dearest Prophet, showrooms, museums, structures of the Holy Mosque, the Prophet’s Mosque and its surroundings.
The project will finish in less than two years.
Its headquarters will be in Makkah with branches in Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah. It will offer an international exhibition in other international capitals that will open branches permanently.
Dr. Nasir hopes this will help many people to visualize the Prophet’s tale and will be a reason for many to convert to Islam.
