Filipino drowns in Tabuk

A Filipino expatriate has drowned at a beach in Duba near Tabuk.
The family of Serigio Sabagon is awaiting repatriation of his body to the Philippines.
Sabagon, who was working as a branch officer at a national maintenance company in the coastal town of Duba, 194 km from Tabuk, was fishing in waters along with friends when the incident occurred.
His other colleagues are said to be safe and have been questioned by police.
Philippine Consulate sources said that the incident occurred on Friday evening and that police are following up on the case.
The body has been transported to the Duba General Hospital morgue and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The Philippine Consulate is awaiting police and medical reports related to the case.
