Leaked audio reveals Australian PM mocking Trump at press event

DUBAI: Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull mocked US President Donald Trump Wednesday in front of a crowd of journalists and politicians.
Audio of the leader poking fun at Trump at the Australian Parliament’s annual Midwinter Ball was leaked by Australia’s Channel Nine.
Turnbull used his recent meeting with the US president in New York as fodder for his speech.
“It was beautiful. It was the most beautiful putting-me-at-ease ever,” he told the crowd, poking fun at Trump’s much-parodied slogans.
"The Donald and I, we are winning and winning in the polls. We are winning so much, we are winning, we are winning like we have never won before," he added.

The Midwinter Ball is a major event in the Australian capital, Canberra.
The prime minister’s speech is supposed to be off-the-record but the news channel decided to air it after parts of the speech were posted to social media.

BBC confuses Sri Lankan President with Indian PM Modi

DUBAI: The British Broadcasting Company (BBC) confused Sri Lanka’s President Maithripala Sirisena with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a live broadcast of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting on Friday.
The blunder occurred when the BBC host said “the Prime Minister of India since May 2014 arriving at Buckingham Palace,” while the Sri Lankan president was exiting his car at the entrance of Buckingham Palace
The BBC since apologized for the mistake stating that the reporter on duty was given incorrect information.
