Malaysian trade minister visits Abeer Medical Group

Malaysian Minister for International Trade and Industry, Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, recently paid a visit to the Abeer Medical Group (AMG) in Jeddah. The minister was visiting the Kingdom to develop trade relations between Malaysia and Gulf countries.
Mohamed and his accompanying delegation were received by Mohammed Alungal, president of AMG. The two sides held talks on various areas of cooperation at Abeer’s head office.
During the meeting, the minister shared his insight on business development and the opportunities available for investment, especially in the health care sector, and showed keen interest in developing business tie-ups offered by Alungal.
Mohamed also expressed interest in Saudi Vision 2030. Alungal explained the facilities offered by the Saudi government while outlining the opportunities for foreign investment.
The two sides agreed to hold further talks at a later stage.
