KSA's consul general in Karachi dies of cardiac arrest

KARACHI: Saudi Arabia's Consul General in Karachi, Mohammad Abdullah Abdul Daim, died early Saturday of cardiac arrest.
Pakistani media said the diplomat was rushed to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Newspakistan.tv reported that the diplomat passed away at 3:50 a.m.
Abdul Daim had been elevated to the rank of ambassador and was awaiting his new posting after completing his three-year term in Karachi when news of his demise came.
Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair Umar expressed grief and sorrow over the death of the consul general, who he said had worked hard to improve and promote brotherly relations between the two countries.
