Snow wreaks havoc across Europe, India and China

Snow and wintry weather are still wreaking havoc in Europe, having had vast swathes of the continent falling below freezing overnight.
In China, a blue alert for a snowstorm and a yellow alert for road ice was issued by the local meteorological bureau on December 12.
Meanwhile, heavy snowfall and rains have forced authorities in Indian controlled Kashmir to close the only all weather road link that connects the Kashmir valley to the rest of India.
