Fast Auto Technic presents Ferrari Portofino

Fast Auto Technic Company (FAST), the official Ferrari importer-dealer in Saudi Arabia, started an exclusive media and VIP event to present the Portofino, the latest model from the iconic Ferrari stable.
Guests were invited to view this beautiful new model, which has fast captured the imagination of clients the world-over, since its global debut at last year’s Frankfurt International Motor Show.
FAST’s initiative to present the all-new Ferrari Portofino reflects the company’s gratitude for its clients and its passion to bring models to their showrooms in both Jeddah and Riyadh for a two-week window.
The events were designed to showcase the innovative technology and extreme sophistication.
Ferrari has chosen a particularly evocative name for this exceptionally versatile drop-top car.
Portofino is renowned for its charming port and, over the years, has become internationally synonymous with elegance, sportiness and understated luxury.
The launch color of the new Ferrari has also been dedicated to this marvellous town: Rosso Portofino.
Capable of unleashing a massive 600 cv and sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, the Ferrari Portofino is the most powerful convertible to combine the advantages of a retractable hard top, a roomy boot and generous cockpit space plus two rear seats suitable for short trips.
The Ferrari Portofino’s all-new chassis features a significant weight saving over the California T it replaces.
Thanks to the extensive use of modern production technologies, all the chassis and body-in-white components have been redesigned with a consequent reduction in weight despite an increase in torsional rigidity.
The Portofino is a Ferrari designed to be driven every day that also effortlessly converts from an authentic ‘berlinetta’ coupé to a drop-top capable of delivering a unique Ferrari soundtrack and superb driving pleasure even in day-to-day situations.
Commenting on this unique event, Fathy Allam, general manager of Fast Auto Technic, said: “ We have received a great deal of positive feedback from our customers about the all-new Portofino over the past few months, mainly queries around the availability of the car in Saudi Arabia. Despite the relatively short display period, we successfully managed to bring a large number of Ferrari enthusiasts to have a good look at the car, show their appreciation and reserve their own unique vehicle.”
