UAE, France expand cultural ties

PARIS: France and the UAE will expand their cultural partnership following the success of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, French Minister of Culture Francoise Nyssen said.
Nyssen met with the UAE Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Noura bint Mohammed Al-Kaabi on Friday.
The two discussed the Arab World Institute and the Sharjah pavilion at the Paris Book Fair.
After the meeting, Nyssen said film and music would be included in the cultural partnership.

Singer Souad Massi to hold concert at Mawazine festival in Morocco this year

CAIRO: Algerian Singer Souad Massi will hold a concert at the annual Mawazine Music Festival in Morocco.
The Moroccan audience are awaiting to be thrilled to attend the concert by the talented musician who has been away from the festival since four years.
Masai began her career as a singer, composer and songwriter in the 1990s.
She will be joining famous Arab singers such as Kathem El-Saher, Nancy Ajram, Mohamad Hamaki and Wael Jassar.
