UN rates Saudi Arabia among most mature countries in communications and IT sector regulation

RIYADH: The United Nations specialized agency in communications and information technology — International Telecommunication Union — rated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia among the most mature countries in the regulation of the telecommunications and information technology sectors in the world.
On this occasion, Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), expressed pride in the ranking awarded to the Kingdom.

King Salman meets Amaala project team

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman met on Tuesday the Amaala project team, led by Nicholas Naples in Tabuk.

During the meeting, the Saudi king has presented the general plan of the Amaala project, which will be a luxury tourist destination on the Kingdom’s Red Sea coast and aims to create a new concept in luxury tourism focusing on recovery, health and treatment.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund the appointment of Naples, a luxury hospitality and development expert, as CEO of the Amaala project in September, where he will be responsible for developing its strategy and overseeing progress.

The meeting was attended by the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and the governor of Tabuk.
