DUBAI: Hollywood star Kaley Cuoco tied the knot over the weekend and looked stunning in a custom-made Reem Acra wedding dress.
“The Big Bang Theory” actress married professional equestrian Karl Cook at a horse stable near San Diego, California, on June 30 and shared snaps from her laid-back nuptials on Instagram using the adorable hashtag, #kcsquared.
Cuoco, 32, chose a lace gown-and-cape combination by Lebanese designer Reem Acra for her big day and wore her hair in a relaxed chignon with soft waves cascading around her face along with a floral headpiece by New York-based designer Jennifer Behr.
“Wearing custom @reemacra in my dream cape,” she wrote on social media.
The bride then changed into a lace jumpsuit by Japanese designer Tadashi Shoji for the reception and topped it off with a glamorous pony tail.
Co-star — and ex-boyfriend — Johnny Galecki took to social media to share a sweet message with the happy couple.
Galecki, who played the character of Leonard Hofstadter on the comedy since 2007, wrote: “Couldn’t be happier for my fake wife @normancook and @mrtankcook whose words brought us all to tears last night. So much love for you both.”
“Deepest congrats to the newlyweds. Love you both so much, @normancook and @mrtankcook. So moved by tonight,” he added in another post on Instagram.
Galecki was joined by co-stars Mayim Bialik and Wil Wheaton who also partied the night away at the couple’s animal-themed reception.
“Congratulations to Kaley Cuoco! Wearing @ReemAcraWedding on her big day,” the Lebanese design house wrote on Instagram, alongside a close-up shot of Cuoco in the dreamy dress.
The ceremony followed a pink-themed hen party earlier in the week. Cuoco shared photos on Instagram showing a room decorated with pink balloons and tassels, along with a tiered stand of delicious-looking iced cupcakes.
Cuoco and Cook, 27, got engaged in November with the actress telling People Magazine that her future husband is her “perfect match.”
She revealed that one of the couple’s philanthropic pastimes is rescuing animals.
“He lets me wake up in the morning and say, ‘I want to go and rescue rabbits.’ And he’s like, ‘Alright, let’s get a coffee and let’s go.’ And that is him. We are the same, our views are the same, our morals are the same, he is my perfect match,” she told the magazine.
Cuoco was previously married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting, however, the couple split in September 2015 after 21 months of marriage.
