Audiovisual commission signs MoU with iflix to boost Saudi media production

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday with iflix Middle East and North Africa Company to boost Saudi media production.
The agreement seeks to “develop Saudi talents by helping the company find local producers, directors, actors and writers in the field of audiovisual media,” said the authority’s statement.
It also aims to support the talented by developing, promoting and distributing their works throught the iflix entertainment service.
The agreement was signed by the GCAM Director General of Media Sector Development, Jassim Alharoon, and the Director of Operations at iflix, Mark Allan Burt.

Saudi crown prince ‘hopes’ investments with India will create many jobs

DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince said on Wednesday that he hopes that investments with India will create many jobs.

During a press conference with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman said Saudi Arabia expects investments in India to reach $100 billion in the next two years.

The Crown Prince also said that there were many opportunities for India and Saudi Arabia and added that relations between the two countries were historic.

Modi praised relations between the two countries after signing cooperation agreements.
