New Belgium visa application centers in Alkhobar, Jeddah

Citizens and expatriate residents of the Kingdom can now apply for Schengen visas to Belgium at the visa application centers jointly launched by the Embassy of Belgium in Saudi Arabia and VFS Global.

In an expansion drive to meet the growing travel demand to Belgium from Saudi Arabia, VFS Global announced the launch of its new visa application center in Alkhobar. The company also inaugurated another center in Jeddah last month.

Applicants no longer need to visit the Embassy of Belgium and instead need to submit their visa applications at the VFS Global centers in Alkhobar and Jeddah.

During the inauguration in Alkhobar on March 5, Dominique Mineur, ambassador of Belgium to Saudi Arabia, said: “The recent opening in Jeddah last month has already resulted in an increase in the number of visa applications received for Belgium from the Kingdom.”

We sincerely hope the Alkhobar center will also generate the same interest and we thank VFS Global for their support. This will undoubtedly strengthen the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Belgium.”

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi debuts BMW 7 Series LCI

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the official importer and distributor of BMW vehicles in Saudi Arabia, has announced the launch of the BMW 7 Series LCI to customers across the Kingdom.
“The BMW 7 Series is a clear and powerful statement of intent by the German carmaker and a model that will dominate the Kingdom’s luxury executive automobile market for years to come,” the company said. The Saudi distributor described the latest models as “every motorist’s ideal vehicle.”
It said the BMW 7 Series combines strong performance and the latest driver assistance and connectivity technology.
Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors expects the vehicle to be received with excitement in the Kingdom by motorists “who appreciate the sheer driving pleasure only BMW can deliver.”
Donn Muirhead, managing director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said: “It is our great pleasure to announce the arrival of BMW’s newest flagship luxury vehicle to our new customers and loyal clients throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
He added: “Our discerning customers will truly appreciate the capabilities, technology, performance and pure driving joy of the BMW 7 Series as it becomes the iconic leader in premium mobility.”
The new BMW 7 Series has been significantly upgraded with an emphasis on precision and design, with features that give the vehicle a greater presence including a new 40 percent larger, single-piece BMW kidney grille.
The BMW 7 Series is available at Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors showrooms in two new models, each boasting fully revised engines: The 6-cylinder 740iLi and 8-cylinder 750iLi xDrive, with the latter accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds at 450 hp, and the 6-cylinder equivalent offering 326 hp, with a maximum torque of 450 Nm at 1380 rpm.
The BMW 7 Series’ enhanced performance is delivered thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics engineering and a lightweight carbon core that means the car weighs 130 kg less than its predecessor.
The interior of the BMW 7 Series features the latest BMW ConnectedDrive driver assistance and entertainment systems, including touch command that allows passengers in the rear to control multiple in-car functions using a seven-inch Samsung tablet.
BMW 7 Series customers can enjoy advanced technology features such as the panoramic “Sky Lounge” sun roof, in-car ambient lighting and nappa leather upholstery.
Established in 1990, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors has been the exclusive and official importer of BMW Group brands — BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce — for 27 years in Saudi Arabia. It has showrooms and service centers in Jeddah, Riyadh, Alkhobar, Qassim, Makkah and Madinah.
