SADAFCO ‘food trucks’ tour Saudi Arabia

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is touring the Kingdom to promote Saudia’s new products, namely the fries and ketchup.

The tour kicked off last month in Riyadh and Jeddah and will run until the first week of April, when it will be in the Eastern Province.

SADAFCO’s booths, designed in the shape of a food truck, have been installed at malls such as the Red Sea Mall in Jeddah, Granada Center in Riyadh and Mall of Dhahran in Alkhobar.

“New product development is at the core of SADAFCO’s business strategy and we are always exploring exciting product options for both our valued and potential consumers in Saudi Arabia and across the region,” said Amani Essam Jamal, culinary marketing manager at SADAFCO. “The Saudia brand is synonymous with great-tasting, nutritious food products of high quality that complement the lifestyles of our consumers. We are confident that consumers will relish our fries and ketchup as we are the only company that provides both products within our portfolio.”

More than 600,000 people are expected to visit the booths during the tour.

Bahri strengthens market footprint in Asia-Pacific region

Saudi logistics and transportation company Bahri has announced the expansion of its market presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region’s maritime industry. The stronger presence will help the company gain deeper insights into market trends as well as customer needs in chemicals and logistics sectors in Singapore and the wider APAC region.
The announcement took place at a ceremony held on April 5 at Regent Hotel in Singapore, in the presence of Abdullah Aldubaikhi, CEO of Bahri, and senior executives of the region’s oil majors, petrochemical trading companies and ship brokers.
The expansion will also enable Bahri Logistics and Bahri Chemicals, two of five business units of the company, to market their offerings, acquire new clients, serve existing clients, and channelize the communications. Bahri has plans to expand the services of its other business units to the APAC region in the future.
