Shalhoob among the top 100 young footballers in the world

The famous English magazine World Soccer has chosen Saudi Arabia’s Muhammad Al Shalhoob among the best 100 young talents in football between 17 and 22 years old for the year 2000.


Asia came fifth with two players. The Japanese player Inamoto Junishi joined 17-year-old Muhammad Al Shalhoob of Al Hilal from Riyadh.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />


Europe came first with 42 players,  France the most with seven players followed by England with five players. South America came second with 27 players, Brazil the most with six followed by Argentina with four players. Africa came third with 20 players, Nigeria came first with four players followed by Ghana and Cameroon with three players each.
