JEDDAH, 8 May — The Jeddah chapter of Indian Doctors, Engineers and Architects Society (IDEAS) has announced its adhoc committee. According to its director Khaja Quadeer Anwar, the committee consists of Aijaz Khan president, Raman Kutty vice president, Mubeen Shareef general secretary, Shareef Aslam for public relations, and Muhammad Rizwan for development. Some of the issues focused by the organization are: Redefining domicile regulation to ease and economize the process of admission in professional colleges for NRI students, reservation quotas for overseas contract employee’s students in competitive examinations, and a review of the age limit for the public sector employment for the Overseas Contract Employees (OCEs) returning from the Gulf. The organization is also preparing an index reference of professionals living in the Gulf. Both employers and career opportunity seekers are expected to benefit from the directory.
