MAKKAH, 16 May — The Central Haj Committee discussed the plan for the forthcoming Umrah season, with special stress on public cleaning, environment health and manpower recruitment. The meeting was held here yesterday. The governorate has recruited 5,450 cleaning workers and provided 180 mechanical units with this objective. The concerned governorate officials will make intensive field tours to inspect food-stuff shops, slaughter houses, restaurants and other services. The committee was chaired by Abdullah Al-Fayez, undersecretary of the Makkah governorate on behalf of Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed.
