Wife of Bahraini emir alludes women’s role

MANAMA, 2 February — Subaikah bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of Baharaini Emir Sheikh Hamad ibn Isa Al-Khalifa, said there was nothing in the way of a woman rising to the post of minister in Bahrain where woman had already been appointed as ambassador, undersecretary in the ministry and member in the Shoura Council.
