WADI AL-DAWASIR, 20 August — Saudi Arabian Airlines flight No. 1967 to Wadi Al-Dawasir was delayed for two hours on Friday due to interference by a mobile phone, according to Ibrahim Al-Baoud, captain of the plane. The flight was due to take off from King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh to Wadi Al-Dawasir at 5.55 p.m. but due to a technical problem was delayed to 7.40 p.m. The technical problem was later found out to have been caused by a mobile phone a passenger had refused to turn off.
