LONDON, 8 October — Prince Talal, president of AGFUND, said the Sept.11 incidents in the United States triggered new risks and added new burdens on the economies of the developing countries. In an address read on his behalf by Prince Turki ibn Talal before the International Conference for Dialogue of Religions, commenced in Canterbury, Britain, yesterday, Prince Talal attributed the economic recession overwhelming the world nowadays to the recession hitting the US. He said the Arab economies were among the worst affected. (SPA)
