250 children with special needs attend Aramco’s Eid festivity

JEDDAH, 16 December 2002 — Saudi Aramco organized a festival for children with special needs at ChuckE.Cheese’s on the Corniche here recently. More than 250 children from a number of charitable organizations took part in the event.

Nabeel Ahmad Baashen, director of Aramco affairs in the Western Province, said the program was aimed at making handicapped children happy during Eid Al-Fitr.

He thanked a number of Saudi actors and comedians including Mohammed Hamza and Hani Saadi (Baba Farhan) for taking part in the program.

In addition to various recreational programs, the event included cultural contests for children. The organizers gave away prizes to the participants.

Emad Al-Aboud, director of ChuckE.Cheese’s, commended Saudi Aramco’s leading role in organizing such events for children with special needs.
