JEDDAH, 28 February 2004 — Police have arrested suspects in the murder of Muhammad Ali Al-Ghamdi, a teacher who was killed at his brother’s farm in Baha a few days ago.
According to Al-Madinah newspaper, the suspects confessed to the crime, saying there had been a family dispute. Police found a gun and a knife when searching their house.
Aoudah Al-Ghamdi, the victim’s brother, said that he was happy that the suspects had been arrested and that the case had finally been solved. The murderers used sharp metal items to commit the crime after a fight with the victim at his brother’s farm. They threw the body into a nearby wadi and rented apartments in both Abha and Jeddah in order to mislead police.
