Saudi Trade Delegation to Visit Ethiopia

RIYADH, 13 March 2004 — The Saudi Export Development Center (SEDC) is planning a trade delegation to Ethiopia in the first week of May to promote local products and explore the possibilities of investment, according to Adul-Karim Yaquob, SEDC director for exhibition & media department. “The visit is expected to boost the trade volume between Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia, which, according to statistics, touches some SR500 million,” he told Arab News. The delegation, which will be the second from SEDC to visit the African country, will consist of 20 members from the Kingdom’s various sectors. In 2002, SEDC organized a trade delegation to Addis Ababa to participate in a trade fair.
