Mohamed Tantawi is to join the management team of 3Com Middle East as part of a major investment and upgrade of 3Com’s channel development strategy. Tantawi will work as 3Com’s Middle East Regional channel manager, with responsibility for developing the expertise and scope of the company’s partner network in the region. Specifically, he will focus on the building of 3Com-based industry solutions by a network of partners in the region, aiming to support the Middle East’s largest enterprises through the deployment of secure, converged voice and data networking solutions.
“Mohamed Tantawi joins our management team at a critical time in 3Com’s regional development, when enhanced demand for advanced networking solutions is driving growth in the market at a rapid rate and opening a number of important opportunities for us to reach new customers and build upon existing relationships,” said Wael Fakharany, regional manager, 3Com Middle East. “We anticipate that Mohamed’s new role will enable 3Com to significantly boost awareness of 3Com technology in the region, as well as strengthening the initiatives of our channel.”
