Teacher’s New Punishmentby Water

TAIF, 27 November 2005 — A teacher in Taif had a very strange way of punishing a student who forgot to bring his books to class, Al-Madinah reported. The teacher gave the student two choices — receive a severe punishment or drink 14 cups of water. The student chose to drink the water. The school principal said that the incident was being investigated and that there was a possibility the teacher would be banned from teaching.
