Imam Y. Hendi, a professor at Georgetown University Washington, D.C. while speaking in Karachi last week, made some interesting proposals, that religion which is the source of conflict in many parts of the world must now also be made the source for a solution.

He was of the view that elements in all religions have utilized banners of their respective beliefs to stoke violence which has polarized the world, and the only way out of this is to educate the scholars of these religions about the noble and universal values advocated by other religions.
Unless we take this message seriously and treat all religions with respect, disregard and isolate those who use religion to instigate violence and hatred to prove superiority of any specific religion, the world will not be a safe and stable place. It puts the onus on religious scholars to take up the task to unify the bleeding world.
