57,000 engineering, health jobs notified

RIYADH: The Ministry of Civil Service has announced thousands of Saudi youths, including women, could instantly fill vacant engineering and health posts in the public sector.

There are 56,985 vacant posts in health and engineering departments across the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported, quoting a ministry statement on Friday.
Both men and women can apply directly for the jobs, except for seventh and eight grades civil and electrical engineering posts in Riyadh and Jeddah.
Qualified applicants should go to any branch office of the ministry or concerned department to be considered for on the spot appointment.
The process of recruiting qualified candidates will be a continuous process over the coming year, the statement said.
The ministry’s branch offices are in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Abha, Buraidah, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, Jazan, Baha, Najran, Arar, Taif, Al-Ahsa and Hafr Al-Baten.
The applicants should bring proof of educational qualifications with original certificates and in the case of medical specializations an endorsement certificate from the Saudi Commission for Health Specializations. They should also have copies of their identification cards and latest passport size photos.
Applicants for seventh and eight grade civil and electrical engineering positions in Riyadh and Jeddah should have master’s or bachelor’s degrees and will be selected on merit.
