JEDDAH: The Ministry of Labor will launch 12 electronic centers for the Nitaqat program.

The centers will provide answers to queries by representatives of private establishments who do not have sufficient Internet knowledge to complete their paperwork concerning Nitaqat. The services that need to be carried out either fall under the ministry itself, under the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) or under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
The ministry's services are divided into two categories, the first being direct services, which starts with registration at its electronic gate. These include changing the activity of the establishment, transferring manpower among its various branches, issuance or renewal of work permits, evaluation of the establishment and employment.
These services are provided once only by the labor offices. The second category of services includes the change of status, change of profession and recruitment applications.
The GOSI services that have to be done online by the centers consist of adding or deleting the names of new members to be insured, iqama numbers of the workers and the recruitment number of the establishment, changing or amending annual salaries, informing of a work injury, entering the details of an injury, and showing the accounts of the establishment.
The services to be extended by the centers in respect of the HRDF include employment and obtaining support.
The centers will work from Saturday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 to 10 p.m.
In Riyadh, the centers have already been established in Al-Hayat Mall, Al-Othaim Mall, Al-Rimal Mall and Granada Mall. In Jeddah, they have been established in Red Sea Mall, Al-Andalus Mall and Al-Tahliah Trade Center.
The ministry said soon such centers would also be established in the southern and eastern provinces.
