Japanese models take center stage at Jeddah motor show

Participating in the launch-and-reveal program were Abdul Latif Jameel Co. (ALJ) introducing Toyota's 2012 Camry and new concept FT-86, Abdullah Hashim Company launching Honda's latest models, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors (MYNM) introducing the new Hyundai i40 Space Wagon, Suzuki Saudia Kizashi and Citroen its latest cars at the event opened by Muffareh Al-Zahrani, general manager, Ministry of Transport, Western Region.
"The show is great since most of the major models are on display," a visibly impressed Al-Zahrani remarked during a tour of the exhibits. The show, which marks Saudi Arabia's 33rd international event for motor vehicles, SUVs and motorcycles, is organized by Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions.
Wael Bakr, MYNM's marketing general manager, said: "Hyundai " i40 " car reflects Hyundai's new spirit, it's a modern car that meets customers' requirements as it is equipped with various comfort and safety equipments in addition to its high performance and elegant design."
Hyundai i40 targets clients who love to combine more than one car categories in one model. This stylish car combines stunning design with practicality and strong performance, along with luxurious interior and highly sophisticated equipment and accessories.
The new "i40" model reflects Hyundai's spirit for change, and represents an example for modern luxury cars at an affordable price. Its production concept considers the global markets needs, as well as the needs of the Saudi market, which represents top priority for Hyundai.
