Making society aware of drug menace

Riyadh Gov. Prince Sattam received at his office on Wednesday Director of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control Brig. Gen. Salih bin Yusuf Al-Hur and other heads of departments at the provincial directorate to discuss efforts to crack down on drugs-related crimes.

During the meeting, Prince Sattam received a letter and a statistics booklet from Crown Prince Naif, second deputy premier and minister of interior, on crimes related to narcotics Kingdom-wide.
Following the meeting, Prince Sattam launched the “Prince Sattam Program for Communal Protection in Riyadh Province.”
The program is aimed at deepening awareness of the dangers of drugs and cementing social loyalties in society on the grounds that drug-related problems are part of a religious, national, and social issue that needs concerted efforts to eradicate it.
