India’s GDP

This has reference to the news (Sept. 1) about India’s GDP growth attaining 8.8 percent in the June quarter.

While the rest of the world is struggling to cope with recession, India is emerging stronger than ever economically, thanks to its educated and highly motivated and skilled workforce. This hi-tech  and young workforce, which is supported by a vibrant democratic government and a rising private sector is the real power behind India’s economic success and they are now driving the country slowly but steadily to become an economic superpower of the world in the coming years.

Friend, while India has done well in some sectors, the success is not widespread enough over the country, India is bound to grow by big GDP number given its domestic size. But I think the people of Bihar and other remote areas may not agree with your 'shining' India analysis. You did not mention the 15 insurgency in your country and in particular Kashmir, otherwsie it is good. We will see how India does hosting the Commonwealth Games

Mr. Azizi-The tone of your comment is that of stark envy.It can be understood without saying why your reaction is that way and I can sympathise with you only. Also, please note that GDP growth is hardly related to successful holding of commonwealth game. The contributory factor to high GDP growth is a vibrant economy.GDP growth of 8.8% achieved by India was a big news in all national and international major TV channels. One channel mentioned that in history this is the first time above 8% growth was achieved by a democratic country as the only other country to have achieved it,China,is not a democratic country.
