No discrimination

By ANEES LOKHANDE | ALKHOBAR

This refers to the report “Women with non-Saudi dads not first choice in job market”(March 9) by Laura Bashraheel.

It is very sad that some women are facing problems because they have non-Saudi dads. I think this situation is not correct in any healthy society. Employment must be on the basis of education, caliber and experience. There is no doubt that every country must give due priority and importance to its citizens. For that, different cells of employments and avenues can be created, and they can be accommodated and given specific training related to their jobs. However, this is not what the story suggests. I strongly believe that women with non-Saudi dads must be treated on the same level as other nationals.

I strongly agree that every person living anywhere should be given access to equal employment opportunity. May be for an employer or a company that employee (foreigner/ non-saudi resident) is just bring revenue to them and helping his/her family to fulffil their everyday needs, but it is causing a big positive impact on their economy. The more skilled workers they hire more the benefit will be.

Its really sad to see ,experience and bear this kind of discrimination where a great religion like Islam was revealed to mankind .
What i have observed the basic good values are not taught to the kids here to respect his/her fellow human beings who ever they are . I have seen most of the kids here are very arrogant and do not behave properly with elders specially expatriates and even more if they are not arab speaking .Society should bring some kind of reform to train younger generation with good Islamic values and behavior

nationalism and tribalism has been condemned in islam.
it is this action, and mainly by arabs that has split the ummah
it is a curse.
