“Arab News represents the moderate voice of Saudi Arabia and we are committed to be a balanced newspaper,” Editor-in-Chief Abdulwahab Al-Faiz told Portugal Ambassador Antonio Botelho de Sousa.
“The paper highlights news of local interests, both economic and social, that is of interest to the expatriate community. This helps them to remain updated on the economic boom and investment opportunities,” he added.
The men met at the Saudi Research and Marketing Group, headquarters in Riyadh and discussed Saudi-Portugal relations and Arab News’ media services for the public and the diplomatic community.
“We also give exposure to diplomatic missions here for them to present their views and expose their economic and investment potential in addition to their tourism industry in their respective countries,” said Al-Faiz.
Ambassador de Sousa expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he received from Arab News. “We need to boost the Portuguese presence here in various sectors,” he said, adding that Arab News could help in his endeavor.
