The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has honored President of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) Abdulaziz bin Saqr Al-Ghamdi in recognition for the distinctive role being played by NAUSS in spreading the culture of security.
Interpol has also appreciated NAUSS’ role in promoting the sense of security, its scientific and training services and its fruitful cooperation with Interpol in all its programs.
The honoring ceremony came during the 81st session of Interpol’s general assembly, which was held in Italy from Nov. 5 to 8 and attended by representatives of 190 countries, 100 interior ministers and other law enforcement officials.
Meanwhile, the head of capacity building and training at Interpol Dell Shahin lauded NAUSS’s efforts in supporting Interpol activities and programs and implementation of joint works carried out by NAUSS in cooperation with Interpol at NAUSS premises or in Arab and third countries.
