A cultural and musical event for women organized by the International Trendsetters and Events Management Group headed by Amrina Qaisar and Shabeena Aslam was held in Jeddah recently.
Two Jeddah personalities were facilitated for their exemplary social work. Chief guest was Nouf M. Almruaa, president and founder of Naturopathy Medicine.
Uzma Raheem, CEO and founder of HOPE, a center for people with special needs, was present with a number of women from different nationalities.
Qaisar and Aslam expressed their delight of uniting different cultures under one roof. “The journey will go on,” said Qaisar. “I am very happy to get connected with different communities, their cultures, and traditions. I hope and wish I could really set trends for all the ladies in the Kingdom. My guests are my pride, which I have achieved successfully.”
Millet, a Philippine singer, presented some foot-tapping dance numbers, which set the mood of the evening and got the audience dancing. Another melodious voice was that of Rehna Saleem, who sang some Bollywood hits and Arabic numbers. Pakistani singer Anum and Aslam also won appreciation for their songs.
A bridal fashion show followed, which depicted cultures of different countries. Makeup of the participants was by INGLOT, which was one of the sponsors, and hairstyle by Shabeena Saloon.
Surprises for the attendees included raffle draws, with winners receiving interesting gift vouchers.
