Sultan receives Eid greetings from Mubarak

AGADIR: Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, on Wednesday received a telephone call from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, congratulating him on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr.

Prince Sultan, who is vacationing in the Moroccan city of Agadir, thanked the Egyptian president for his gesture. Saudi Arabia announced on Wednesday that Eid Al-Fitr would be celebrated on Friday.

The crown prince on Tuesday met with Muhammad Bousaeed, governor of Agadir and senior officials of the state. The reception was attended by a number of Saudi princes and officials including Prince Faisal bin Sultan, secretary-general of Sultan Charitable Foundation.
