French arms delegation in Kingdom

RIYADH: Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Military Affairs Prince Khaled bin Sultan, received the head of international development at the French arms agency Delegation Generale pour l’Armement, Jacques de Lajugie.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of mutual interest. The meeting was also attended by French Ambassador to the Kingdom Bertrand Besancenot.

Prince Khaled also met chairman of US Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen. During the meeting, they reviewed the current situation in the region and the wider world. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Hussein Al-Qabil, US Ambassador to the Kingdom James Smith, Chief of US Military Training Mission in the Kingdom Maj. Gen. Paul Van Sickle and the Saudi Military Attache to the United States, Brig. Gen. Ameen Shaker.

Also on Wednesday, Prince Turki bin Muhammad, undersecretary at the Foreign Ministry received US Lt. Gen. Adams Mills on behalf of Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal. The general was accompanied by US Ambassador James Smith. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
