JEDDAH: A Pakistani expatriate worker died and six others injured in three separate fires in Jeddah on Thursday.
Capt. Abdullah Al-Amri, spokesman for the Civil Defense, said a 50-year-old man died in a blaze in Aziziya.
Two Pakistani women survived with burns on their faces, hands and legs as the fire broke out in their bedroom.
Three teams of Civil Defense personnel were involved in putting out the fire.
The second fire occurred at a two-story old building in Kilo 11 on Old Makkah Road, which resulted in four women falling unconscious after inhaling smoke. They were rescued and taken to hospital.
Al-Amri added that 10 firefighting teams took part in fighting a massive fire that gutted three warehouses belonging to the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Some of the contents at the warehouses were flammable.

Do not wait for an accident to happen, be prepared to save lives. The fire department takes at least 5 minutes & you can do something before they arrive.
And above all..always keep praying, asking Almighty Allah to save us & our families from any accident. Astaghfar daily really helps from many things. May Allah give patience to the families of the deceased and help them in all needed affairs. Ameen.
