Passport department denies Causeway rumors

By ARAB NEWS

JEDDAH: The Directorate General of Passports denied recent press reports that a Saudi citizen coming from Bahrain had entered the women’s section of the Passport Department’s building on the King Fahd Causeway.

“The man got out of his car, made abusive gestures and then proceeded to the women’s section of the building where he was prevented from entering. He was then handed over to the police,” said spokesman for the directorate Lt. Col. Badr ibn Muhamamd Al-Malik.

He asked newspapers to be accurate with their reports and to obtain their news from original sources.
