Jazan to have livestock incinerators

JEDDAH: Jazan province will be the first in Saudi Arabia to dispose of dead livestock through the use of high quality incinerators. These would ensure a safe disposal of livestock carcasses and protect the environment from harmful gas emissions.

The municipality of Jazan has been supplied with the necessary equipment.

Aidaroos Abulkasem Al-Amir, the official in charge of public relations and media in the office of the Jazan mayor, said the project would be implemented in two stages. The first would be implemented during the next six months. The second would be completed in the next three years. Al-Amir added that the project involved the operating, maintenance and training of specialized incinerator technicians.
