Saudi Aramco exhibition inaugurated by Abdul Aziz Khoja

JEDDAH: A massive exhibition organized by Saudi Aramco was launched on Saturday at the Mall of Arabia to showcase the history of the Kingdom’s oil industry and Jeddah.
Minister of Culture and Information Abdul Aziz Khoja inaugurated the exhibition which is showcasing photographs and works of art by a number of talented artists and children.
“Such pictures are considered very important and rare documents that narrate the history of our country. These photos reflect a real image of the old generation. The new generation needs to know about the Kingdom’s past and oil history,” said Khoja.
The exhibition is part of the Jeddah Summer Festival, as part of which a number of events have been organized. The Jeddah Health Affairs Department, the Civil Defense and the Traffic Department have also organized several awareness campaigns to coincide with the exhibition.
Dr. Noha Dashash, consultant in family medicine at the Jeddah Health Affairs Department, said, “We are focusing on several widespread illnesses such as dengue fever and tuberculosis, and also running a campaign against smoking … visitors are also receiving information about health in schools, personal hygiene and healthy food.”
