The internationally renowned NEXUS Flight Operations Services has announced the start of the initial aircraft dispatch training in association with FlightSafety International.
For the third time, NEXUS Flight Operations Services and global aviation training leaders FlightSafety International will offer the initial aircraft dispatch training to a flock of new and hopeful students at the NEXUS headquarters in Jeddah.
The course, which is in compliance with major Civil Aviation Authority regulatory requirements, will run from May 12-18 and offer students great insight into the important role of an aircraft dispatcher, which mainly entails ensuring flight operational safety at all times.
Over the five weeks, students will undergo a total of 240 hours learning time, including an extra 40 hours of practical training, which exceeds current civil aviation regulatory course requirements.
NEXUS Chairman Mohammed Al-Zeer said: "With this fantastic course, which is offered in association with the world's foremost aviation training company, we hope to attract a wide range of students, including GCC nationals, who will then go on to promote and develop aviation safety within the region."
Scott Fera, Vice President of Market for FlightSafety International stated: "Initially we had high hopes for this program within the Middle East and so far it has certainly not disappointed us thanks to NEXUS. The previous courses have been very successful and we are sure that it will continue on this path."
Abdullah Al-Sayed, president and CEO of NEXUS, said: "The course has been hugely successful and very popular so far. We are very proud of our previous graduates who have gone on to do great things within the world of aviation. Through this initiative, we have been able to offer our students diverse advantages through their training and instill in them our dedication to provide safe, efficient and reliable flight operations to the airline industry."
