Sattam wants Riyadh historic center preserved

Riyadh Gov. Prince Sattam yesterday saw a display of the architectural heritage of Riyadh at the governorate. Deputy Gov. Prince Mohammed bin Saad, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities Prince Sultan bin Salman and a number of officials of the body were present on the occasion.
Prince Sattam asserted the importance of preserving the architectural heritage and the creation of heritage sites in the province.
He stressed the importance of the historic center of Riyadh and the need to preserve it while at the same time maintaining its historic character to appeal to the citizens.
Prince Sultan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the governor for the interest and support SCTA received from Prince Sattam and his deputy. He pointed out that Prince Sattam's concern for the protection and development of urban heritage in the region comes as an extension of the cooperation between the SCTA and the main organs of the Riyadh governorate.
